Most nationalities can obtain a “Visa on Arrival” at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. You will need a valid passport (at least 6 months validity) and two passport-sized photos. For our Tibet or India treks, visas must be arranged in advance.
The primary trekking seasons in Nepal and India are Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November). During these months, the skies are clear, and the views of peaks like Everest and Annapurna are best. We also offer select treks in the “Rain Shadow” areas like Upper Mustang and Ladakh during the summer (June–August).
Safety is our #1 priority. Our itineraries include mandatory acclimatization days. Our guides are trained to recognize the early symptoms of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). We carry pulse oximeters on every high-altitude trek to monitor oxygen saturation levels, and we carry medical kits and supplemental oxygen if required.
